Hello L from Canada, well, I'd gladly give you the information, but unfortunately, We've forgotten the name, there's a reason for this, we had a few rather disagreeable encounters with cockroaches in the bathroom, and the owner was really strange - verging on slightly scary, and perpetually drunk. So definitely not one I would recommend. The night we ate in their patio, we even saw a rat scurrying across. I have kept 2 business cards from Gibara: Hostal La Fortuna, tel 34353 & Hostal La Fuente, tel 34116 so it could be any of these 2... but I can't remember which. However, if you travel round the rest of Cuba, there are a few places I'd love to recommend in Camaguey, Trinidad, Habana, and Vinales.
