Well, Amazon.com was due to launch their much-hyped up website this year with thousands of mp3 downloads, but we're still waiting for it to happen, whereas Gbox, fuelled by Google, whose innovativeness and efficiency we have learnt to expect, have teamed with Universal (well, nobody's perfect!) to launch G-Box, and it's already up-and-running!

Easy to use and browse, you can buy albums or singles at prices starting from $0.99. You can also create your wishlist to post on your Myspace, as well as give music to other people through the same device, but you can simply buy mp3s for your own enjoyment. Great innovation, great store. I've made my first purchase today, Kanye West's "Stronger", encoded in 256kbits, and I'm a satisfied customer. Plus, from what I understand, for as long as my profile remains active, as they've created a receipt of the transaction, I could donwload the song again if my computer crashed down...
