A few weeks ago, we went to
Mexico... the trip of a lifetime. Amazing Mexico, paradise on earth.
Here's how we proceeded: we booked a return flight (departing 25th Feb. -
return 13th March) for Cancun (Yucatan) as well as two Lonely Planet guides: Mexico and Yucatan (we
later realised that the one on Mexico was detailed enough and ended up
using mainly this one). We'd planned on finding our hotels thanks to the
guide and renting a car to take a trip through Yucatan and towards
Chiapas. A few days before departure, we also booked two hotels in Playa del Carmen (one for
the 1st night one for the 2nd and 3rd) where we
intended to stay for a few days before taking off for our tour of the
country.

Il y a quelques semaines de ça (et ça semble
déjà si loin), on était au Mexique, pays magnifique s'il en est. Le
paradis sur terre. On avait seulement réservé nos billets d'avion
aller-retour (aller 25 février - retour 13 mars) pour Cancun (Yucatan) et
acheté deux guides Lonely Planet (merci La Poste, ils ont mis 3 semaines
pour arriver, 10 jours avant qu'on parte...), Mexico et Yucatan
(les guides en anglais on préfère, c'est comme ça). Quelques jours
avant le départ, on a aussi réservé par internet et téléphone (oui oui "hablo
Espaňol!") 2 hôtel (1 nuit + 2 nuits) à Playa del Carmen où on comptait
rester quelques jours avant de partir visiter en voiture de location. Voici une carte de la péninsule Yucatan et du Chiapas. C'est le sud-est du Mexique.
